Outline
All providers have duties under the Equality Act 2010 to promote equality of opportunity and make reasonable adjustments to meet the needs of children. Providers also have an anticipatory duty to ensure that they are well prepared in advance to include children with Special Educational Needs and disabilities (SEND).

The training will cover current legislation and practice for supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in Out of School settings.

Outcomes
Following the workshop you will be able to:

Identify and increase opportunities for children with SEND to fully participate

Demonstrate how you could plan and create a fully inclusive environment for all children

Describe strategies to improve parent involvement
