This workshop will support those practitioners who lead the learning of two year olds to explore the importance of providing the appropriate opportunities to promote the physical development of two year olds. Practitioners will explore brain development and how to support practitioners in supporting physical development:

Ensure that leaders have an understanding of providing the right opportunities to promote two year olds physical development. 

Understand the impact of physical development on the developing brain. 

Understand the importance of physical development and the role of the practitioner in supporting this.

Outcomes
After attending this course, you will be able to:

  • Confidently understand and communicate to other Practitioners appropriate opportunities to promote the physical development of two year olds.
  • Strengthen knowledge and understanding of the impact of physical development on the developing brain.
  • Understand the importance of physical development and the role of the Practitioner in providing an appropriate environment.
  • As well as having had the opportunity to reflect on your practice and receiving tailored guidance and support from an experienced Early Years and Childcare professional.
