Sue Denny: Early Years Equality and Inclusion Advisor

I qualified as an NNEB Nursery Nurse working firstly in a London social services day nursery. I worked with babies and children aged from six months to five years old as a Nursery Officer. I continued to work in London for twenty years in the Education department working in a range of different nurseries and a Children’s Centre. I have carried out various roles including being a SENCo, a Deputy Manager and a Manager. I moved to Kent in 2005 working for three years in the private and voluntary sector before joining Kent Early Years Advisory Service.

My son is at university and my daughter, a talented swimmer, is still at school. I am a “swim mum” and spend lots of time travelling round the country cheering her on!  I love to relax and unwind by the sea in my little beach hut.
