Barbara Hall: Equality and Inclusion Adviser
I qualified as a teacher in 1978 and went straight into a role training young adults with physical disabilities. A move to London followed and I then had a wide variety of jobs teaching all ages from Early Years through to 16 year olds. After having my children I owned a small nursery in the village where we still live and then went on to manage the village pre-school. Once my children were in school I went back to teaching and was the Early Years Co-ordinator of a large local primary school for several years. In 2001 I joined the Early Years and Childcare Service as an Advisory Teacher and began my current role in 2014.
I have two grown up daughters who I love spending time with. Living in a village, I enjoy taking part in local groups and activities. I have the opportunity to grow old disgracefully by being part of large rock and pop choir and whenever possible I enjoy travelling.
