Emporium Plus – Learning and Environment Enhancing Resources
Early Years and Childcare owners/managers, childminders and primary, academy and independent schools
How can Emporium Plus help to support child development and enhance your setting/school environment?
We have over 3000 resources to encourage demonstration of the Characteristics of Effective Learning. They suit children from birth to eleven years, supporting the Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Out of Hours play and learning.
Our Personal, Social and Emotional Development resources encourage children to share and be creative as well as allowing them to have their own space, such as the Wren’s Nest. Our resources are inclusive and include aids to encourage children with autism and ADHD to focus on calming movements. Where a child requires additional support, we can identify suitable resources to support their development, therefore helping to narrow the achievement gap.
You can change your environment regularly by ordering our wonderful Beechwood Play Gyms, Play Frames, Hollow Blocks and Cosy Nooks. We also offer natural materials, such as pebbles, shells and starfish to enrich learning and enhance displays. We have added many outdoor environment resources, including milk crates, tyres, large balance scales and building sets.
Our Out of School section has been revised and replenished and now includes resources to support children from two to eleven years, such as dolls prams, cots and pool tables. This section includes the Cannonball Drop and Floor Basketball for children who are using wheelchairs or walking frames, as well as many more inclusive activities.
“Without your resources we would not have been able to provide our children with new and exciting learning experiences. We have been using this service for many years. The Hollow Blocks are a particular favourite for this pre-school” – Burgoyne Heights
