Outline
This workshop will provide an opportunity for delegates to consider why children behave in the way they do and the role practitioners have in supporting children to consider their actions thus supporting appropriate behaviours.

It will include approaches to the management of behaviour in the setting by focusing on appropriate boundaries with all children and the necessity for all staff to work together for positive outcomes.

Outcomes
Following the workshop you will:

Understand the causes and symptoms associated with a range of different behaviours 

use a positive whole team approach to develop self-esteem and encourage appropriate behaviour

identify how the physical and emotional environment impacts on children's behaviour

identify when further support is required and how this can be accessed
