Outline
Early identification of a possible delay in a child’s progress is an essential part of the role of an Early Years practitioner. This workshop will enable you to respond to concerns about a child’s progress and implement appropriate early intervention and support for children where progress is less than expected.

Following the workshop you will be able to:

Implement appropriate early intervention and SEND support for children to help them reach their full potential.

Use the graduated approach effectively to support SEND and implement robust monitoring and record keeping systems. 

Implement a clear process for seeking specialist support.

Work in partnership with parents and other professionals.
