Fay Armstrong:
Equality and Inclusion Adviser

I completed the NNEB and Diploma in Nursery nursing in 1996 and worked as a private nanny and maternity nurse in both New York and London. I then went on to work in small private day nurseries in a variety of positions. During this time I studied part time and graduated with a degree in Law and Sociology.  Subsequently, I worked in a Children’s Centre in Tower Hamlets and later moved to another Children’s Centre in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, where I gained Early Years Professional Status.

I joined KCC Early Years and Childcare service as a Childcare Development Officer in 2009 and became a EYFS Teaching and Learning Adviser the following year.

I live by the coast with my husband and beautiful Labrador, Eva. I enjoy walking, reading and listening to music, and I love spending time with my large extended family and friends.
