The Education People in collaboration with Kent County Council have developed a Global Action Programme to introduce early years settings to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.  The programme operates on a rolling basis focussing on  individual SDG’s providing information, advice and practical activities.  This enables early years professionals to raise awareness and introduce the Sustainable Development Goals to pre-school children in an age appropriate way.

In addition to the presentations, activities and networking opportunities early years providers can view a wide range of innovative installations and inspiring displays incorporating ‘living’ and natural materials.

The programme has raised awareness and excitement with Early Years settings in Kent with 100 nurseries already registered providing a potential reach of some 4,000 pre-school children!
