Tracie Butterfill – Early Years Equality and Inclusion Adviser

I hold a traditional NNEB and have also achieved a BA Honours in Early Childhood Studies and Social Science in addition to Early Years Professional Status (Early Years Teacher). I have over 25 years’ experience in childcare and education and have undertaken a wide variety of courses and training from Portage and Makaton to a National College of Teaching and Leadership’s qualification for Chairs of Governors.

Since gaining my NNEB in 1993 I have worked in a variety of roles including being a Nanny to a number of private families and held various leadership roles within schools and settings including: Supervisor of a pre-school, Vice Chair of school governors, Chair of a day nursery committee and various posts within the Local Authority’s Early Years’ service, including my current role as an Early Years Equality and Inclusion Adviser.
